QK Recognized by ACEC CA for Engineering Excellence
QK was selected by the ACEC California judging panel to receive a Commendation Award for its work on the City of Woodlake’s Multi-Phased Downtown Enhancement Project in the ACEC California 2018 Engineering Excellence Award competition.
QK is proud to have assisted the City of Woodlake with this community project, which provides a more pleasing entrance into the City’s downtown business district. The downtown has gone through a complete transformation, fulfilling the City’s master plan concept to provide pedestrian, bicycle, and transit connectivity to shopping, living, office, and recreational destinations in the downtown area; and improves the aesthetic appearance and usefulness of downtown.
QK’s Project Manager, Monique Mello, PE, accepted the award on behalf of QK at the Engineering Excellence Awards Banquet held at the Sheraton Grand in downtown Los Angeles on February 8, 2018.
To date, the Woodlake Downtown Enhancement projects have won nine project awards!
